Leadership

Michael Slavinski

President

From it’s inception, L&M Machining Center, Inc. has been led by Michael
Slavinski, utilizing skill sets gained as a  U.S. Marine aviation ground
support mechanic specializing in gas turbine compressors, structural
fabrication and certified as an airframe T.I.G. welder via N.A.R.F.
Coronado. After successfully completing four years in the Marine Air wing
Michael spent a year full time earning a certificate in Machine Tool
Technology at Mira Costa College.  After working in local machining and
sheet metal jobs shops as a programmer the entrepreneurial spirit and
inspiration from those around him created the nexus to progress to the next
level. Inspired by the Toyota Quality revolution and the writing of Deming
and Tom Peters Michael has been a senior member of the American Society for
Quality and has been a certified quality auditor(CQA) for years and authored
our ISO13485(medical), AS9100d and ISO900 management systems. Michael
realizes the relationship of training, efficiency of making things right the
first time and continually improving via inputs, internal and external.

Lynne Slavinski

Chief Finance Officer

An inspirational founding board member of L&M Machining Center, Inc. Lynne
Slavinski, C.F.O.,  has a B.S. in Business from San Diego State and manages
all aspects of corporate finance.  Lynne also chairs and manages our Kaizen
system of continuous improvements. You may ask why an accountant chairs and
manages a Kaizen system, accounting is not regulated in any way other than
state and Federal law and has no shop floor experience, it eliminates the
entrenched establishments opinions opposing new ideas, this has worked well
for both L&M Machining Center, Inc. and our customers.
